Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving.  Indeed, those who recite the Book of Allah and establish prayer and spend [in His cause] out of what We have provided them, secretly and publicly, [can] expect a profit that will never perish. (Quran 35:28-29)

Imam Farhan Siddiqi is the Resident Imam and Director of Religious Affairs at Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center. Imam Farhan was born in Ohio but mostly raised in Connecticut, he graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Biology with a plan to apply for medical school. He decided to change course in his life and specialize in serving the Muslim community through Da’wah and Islamic work. That caused him to travel to Makkah and enroll at Umm al Qura University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Arabic language and Islamic Studies. Imam Farhan returned to the US and served as an imam at multiple masajid before coming to Dar Al-Hijrah, while working on completing his Masters Thesis in the Sciences of Hadith from Umm al Qura University. He is currently pursuing his PhD, working on Imam Muslim’s Sahih. Imam Farhan is married and has four children.

Imam Farhan’s role as the Resident Imam and Director of Religious Affairs is to provide spiritual and religious guidance in addition to leading prayers and Jumuah Khutbahs. Imam Farhan leads the Educational Department at Dar Al-Hijrah to fashion Islamic programming that will focus on educating our community and our youth.
