Established in 1983 CE (1403 AH), Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center has grown alongside the Muslim community it serves. Initially operating from a small house in Falls Church, VA, the center’s strategic location near the Washington, D.C. metro area enabled it to serve a vibrant community of 40,000 Muslims. In 1991 (1411 AH), the current facility opened, overcoming significant challenges to become a hub for worship, education, and community engagement.
A registered non-profit in Virginia (Tax ID: 31-1256417), Dar Al-Hijrah has been affiliated with the Muslim American Society (MAS) since 1999. Together, they promote religious, educational, and charitable initiatives, fostering unity and service for all.
