In our Northern Virginia community, many refugee and low-income families struggle to afford one of life's final necessities, a dignified Islamic burial.
The Funeral Fund at Dar Al-Hijrah ensures that no Muslim is denied a proper burial due to financial hardship. Rooted in compassion and faith, this fund covers burial expenses, provides community support, and upholds our sacred duty of caring for the deceased.
Why it matters:
- Preserves dignity and fulfills a fard kifayah (collective duty).
- Relieves families from financial crisis during times of grief.
- Strengthens our ummah through solidarity, mercy, and service.
How you can help:
- Donate monthly or sponsor a funeral (average cost: $5,500).
