Yemen has endured nine years of relentless conflict, making it one of the most devastating humanitarian crises of our time. Over 21.6 million people urgently need humanitarian aid, including more than 11 million children. More than 4.5 million people have been displaced as violence, famine, and disease devastate the nation.
Despite ongoing aid efforts, 17 million people remain food insecure. Preventable diseases continue to spread, disproportionately affecting women and children. Yemen now has some of the highest rates of malnutrition in the world, with 1.3 million mothers and 2.2 million children under five suffering from acute malnutrition.
