Dar Al-Hijrah Weekend School provides a comprehensive educational system for children which included: Qur`an, Islamic Studies, Seerah, and Arabic. Saturdays OR Sundays. Registration is on a first come, first serve, basis.
The school year runs from September to May and is divided into two semesters. The Fall semester begins on the first weekend AFTER Labor Day for 14 weekends (Labor Day is the first Monday of September). The Winter semester starts in January for 14 weekends.
IMPORTANT: Students must register once for EACH semester (i.e. register once for Fall semester and register again separately for the Winter semester.) Registration is on a first come first serve basis, depending on availability. Registration deadlines for each program will be announced before the beginning of each semester.
Make up days for weather-related closings will be announced at the end of each semester to complete the 14 weekends.
Saturday School – 10:00am until 3:00pm

Beginner Level
Quran:
- Memorize from Surat Al-Fatiha to Al-Fil
Arabic:
- Learn and read the whole alphabets
- Study the alphabets with the short vowels Fatha, Kasra, and Dama
- Study the colors, shapes, and numbers from 1-15 in Arabic
Islamic Studies:
- Hadeeth
- Duaa
- Learn how to make Wudu
- Learn about Tawheed
- Learn about the Islamic Holidays
- Learn Islamic Manners
Seerah:
- Learn the basic information about our Prophet Muhammad (S. A. W.)
- Learn stories from the Quran and the Sunnah
