These are challenging times for our families. Many newly arrived refugees and immigrants are unable to work while they await asylum. Many families do not qualify for public benefits, or are afraid to access them, leaving them no source for food other than local charity. These are the very families served by the DAH Food Bank.

The DAH Food Bank distributes fresh produce and halal chicken every Thursday morning from 9:00am until 11:00am, or when the food runs out. In addition, volunteers deliver to those who are home-bound, and we serve emergency walk-ins throughout the week.

All who are in need are welcome to register for our food bank regardless of their faith, background or legal status.
