DAH Social Services
Unite Your Community this Ramadan
Ramadan is a sacred time to draw closer to Allah and fulfill the trust He has placed upon us to care for others. At Dar Al-Hijrah, our Social Services provide vital support to families, refugees, and individuals in need in our community. By giving this Ramadan, you can be part of a collective effort to serve those who need us most.

Collective Commitment
The Prophet ﷺ (Peace Be Upon Him) said:
“Are you supported or given aid by Allah except by the way that you have treated your most vulnerable?”
This Ramadan, let us reflect on these words and act upon their wisdom. Dar Al-Hijrah, situated in one of the largest immigrant hubs in the U.S., serves as a vital resource for those members of our community facing the challenges of economic hardship, resettlement and rebuilding their lives.
Last year alone, we:
- Delivered food to over 2,200 individuals in 800 households.
- Served 1,200 hot meals.
- Resettled 145 refugees and supported them as they built a new life.
- Empowered 250 women through job training and skill-building programs.
- Provided legal assistance to over 250 individuals.
These efforts are a reflection of our collective commitment to fulfill the trust Allah has placed upon us—to honor Him by serving His creation with compassion, dignity, and unwavering dedication.
The True Spirit of Ramadan
Dar Al-Hijrah’s mission is rooted in faith and the belief that every act of giving brings us closer to Allah. Every week, hundreds turn to us for help, and with your support, we can answer their calls with our Social Services.
Your donation this Ramadan is not just charity—it is worship. It is a way to honor your responsibility, purify your wealth, and bring relief to your brothers and sisters in need.
Join DAH and fulfill the true spirit of Ramadan: compassion, unity, and devotion. Together, we can spread hope that lasts beyond this blessed month.
