We at Dar Al Hijrah Islamic Center are sorry for your loss and hope to help expedite the burial process for your family and remind ourselves of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ),

“مَن شهد الجنازة حتى يُصلَّى عليها فله قيراط، ومَن شهدَها حتى تُدفَنَ فله قيراطان”

“Whoever attends a funeral and attends the prayer will receive a qirat worth of reward and whoever attends the burial, he will receive two.” i.e. one qirat = great mountains worth

  1. If the friend/family member is in the process of death or has passed, contact the funeral service center of your choice to prepare for the burial. The following services are examples of what is available in the area**:
